After acclimatization rest in Namche Bazaar trekkers walk towards Kyangjuma and take the different route towards Mongla Danda instead of trail to Tengboche. The trail is narrow and offers the sight of Cholatse, Tabuche all the way up to the Gokyo Valley. The distant sight of Mt. Choyu is always with trekkers throughout the trip. The green lush forests of alpine category and summer herder’s huts are seen in the trail. The final destination is Gokyo Lake which is the 3rd lake out of five lakes of this region. 
Trekkers will get the remarkable scenery of mountains as far as Makalu from the top of Gokyo Ri. This is the vantage point which is often labeled best than the sunrise from Kalapathar. The trip of Fifth Lake of Gokyo Valley offers the best and different proportion of Mt. Everest. In usual Everest Base Camp Trek trekkers will find the other side of Everest while Gokyo Fifth Lake Trek offers the different perspective.

Your adventure begins with an arrival in Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal. The city welcomes you with its bustling streets, ancient temples, and a rich cultural tapestry. Spend the day exploring historic sites like Durbar Square or preparing for your trek with a briefing from your guide.

An early morning flight from Kathmandu takes you to Lukla, the starting point of your trek. The exhilarating flight offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas. From Lukla, trek to Phakding, a picturesque village along the Dudh Koshi River, where you begin to feel the rhythm of the trek.

Continue your ascent, crossing suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. The trail leads through pine forests and charming Sherpa villages, culminating in the arrival at Namche Bazaar. Acclimatize in Namche, surrounded by stunning peaks, and explore the local markets and monasteries.

The trek proceeds towards the Gokyo Valley, passing through serene landscapes and crossing the Dudh Koshi River. Arriving at the Gokyo Lakes, you are greeted by the mesmerizing sight of glacial waters surrounded by majestic peaks.

A crucial rest day at Gokyo allows for acclimatization. Take short hikes around the lakes, soak in the breathtaking scenery, and prepare for the challenging ascent of Gokyo Ri.

Climb Gokyo Ri early in the morning to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Everest region. Descend to explore the Fifth Lake, enjoying the pristine beauty of this high-altitude glacial lake.

Descend through Namche Bazaar and revisit familiar landscapes as you make your way back to Lukla. The trek concludes as you board a flight to Kathmandu, providing a final glimpse of the Himalayan peaks.
